FAQ's
The perfect time to capture your maternity photos are usually between 28-36 weeks or 7 to 8 months. It's the best time because we're able to see that beautiful belly but you are still within a timeframe of not being (too) uncomfortable yet.
When it comes to newborn photos, what I always say is the earlier the better. With that being said, between 7-10 days is an ideal time.
Depending on the type of session, it can vary and I am here to help when we work together. However, for a general idea I always recommend neutral colors like beige, creams, and grays.If you are wanting to add some color, blues, greens and light pinks are perfect. Once we connect and plan a session I can send you inspo for what to wear!
Kids are kids and they want to run around and live in the moment and we should let them! Those are the pictures that end up meaning the most. However, I always recommend making sure they've eaten prior to a session, bring some of their favorite toys and a little incentive never hurt anyone (i.e ice cream after session hehe).
I cover most of Southern CA. I have some favorite spots in many locations of socal but am always up for an adventure. my list includes both natural/field type locations + coastal spots. Once you reach out to inquire, we will discuss location options and make sure we find a spot that fits exactly with what you're envisioning!
Of course, that is my job! I never want any of my clients to feel uncomfortable or unsure of what to do and for that reason I will always be by your side to help guide you through the session. I tend to shoot more candid style images and less posed shots- I find it ends up looking more natural and timeless which makes for images that will never go out of style.
