My favorite style to capture my families is with a light hearted, effortless candid feel. I want the pictures to be a real replication of what the moments are truly like in life. This candid Pasadena family session is such a heartfelt session that brings me so much joy. I have been photographing this special family for many years now and I love how open they are to those images of laughs, tickles, playing in the dirt and so much more. I always have so much fun capturing this family and I can’t wait until our next session because they have a darling baby girl who will be joining us.

These tickles are everything- to me the smiles and laughter that come from those real moments and not posed moments are the ones you will absolutely love looking back on in the years to come.

Little Maverick loves to run around and be a boy playing in the dirt, finding rocks and loving on them like it’s his new pet- to me, you gotta grab all those delicate meaningful moments because before you know it, he will be a teenager and have zero interest in the simple moments.

I can’t even with his little finger in this picture, Maverick is always so full of life and spunk! It’s been really cool to see him grow each year and change so drastically at every session. I remember our first shoot he was a sweet little infant and now he is running around talking and having so much fun.

Although candid (in the moment) images are my thing I always make sure we grab a few shots of everyone smiling at the camera because those are essential to have hanging up in your home as memories.

I had so much fun working with the Gregori family again at this candid Pasadena family session and absolutely love every time I get to reconnect with this family and watch them grow every year.
