There is something so special about Ventura- it’s a California beach town that is unlike any other in Southern CA. Ventura Beach Family Photography in Light Blue and Pink is serious inspo for your next session!

Ventura is a small town feel yet has so much to offer including some of the most magical locations for your next family session or vacation! This family wore the perfect shades of pinks and blues that brought out all the ocean tones and views of Marina Park in Ventura.

I am a sucker for beach locations but especially those that have some variation in terrain. For example, I love capturing the beautiful ocean views in the background but I also aim to include a few different types of scenery in your gallery as well. At Marina Park in Ventura, there are so many beautiful sandy hills bearing pops of greenery. Just adds a little depth, texture and variety with your photos.

We started outside the sand with some cute family shots, allowed this adorable family to get comfortable in front of the camera and warm up a bit before heading onto the sand.

I was so excited when I met this family because their color coordination and decisions were seriously 100% what I always recommend. Soft, neutral with a pop of some color and a little different for each person, true perfection. It was also this sweet boy’s first birthday so we had to make sure we captured some solo shots. He was truly such a happy and ridiculously adorable baby!

We ended the session with candids of these three. Mama told me that was something that was important to her for the photos which was perfect because that is always my main focus. At every session, I start with those classic smiley photos looking at the camera and save the rest of the session for those precious, real, in the moment images.
