I have been capturing this sweet family for a few years now and I am just so excited that we were able to capture an outdoor family maternity session in Thousand Oaks for them to document this special time before they welcome their baby boy this winter. I am always so excited to capture these three, mom always kills it with the perfect outfits for everyone-this years outfit for baby girl was from Zara, such an awesome place to find photo outfits for your kiddos! It’s so cute to see their sweet little girl grow each year plus she’s always so photogenic making my job that much easier.

These three have the most genuine bond ever and it’s always so fun to capture these little moments of tickles, hugs and kisses to baby brother arriving so soon!

She is going to make the sweetest big sister!

The tickles are always the best, they truly make for such amazing smiles and laughs and makes it so enjoyable for the littles to have fun throughout our session. I like to make sure my sessions feel authentic and not posed. Plus, if you have a little one under the age of about 5, you definitely know the struggle of family photos with unpredictable toddlers. When you help them have fun, in the moment you will capture such beautiful smiles, true laughs and it makes everyone feel relaxed and allows your family to have fun.

Can’t forget the portraits though! I usually start out with these shots as they are always more challenging towards the end of the session since the littles begin to get restless. This sweet girl was a champ though and didn’t stop smiling the entire time, she is such an angel!

We ended the session with some solo shots of sweet girl and she had the cutest little expressions. These images will truly be loved for so long, especially because the kiddos change right before your eyes.
