The beauty that is created during a session in Thousand Oaks comes alive during the golden hour. It’s that magical time where the sun is beginning to glow softly, it truly is so gorgeous. However, we know if you have toddlers they may not be willing to function at that hour and that is totally OK. I have shot countless sessions mid day or morning and they have turned out so beautifully. That is when location is key and matters the most. Also, having a professional photographer help guide you through the process is also crucial so they can recommend tips and tricks for this situation.

Another reason working with a professional photographer is great is when it comes to what to wear to your maternity session. My favorites are soft pastels, flowy/whimsical dresses and colors that will compliment the Thousand Oaks terrain. The most important thing though- make sure you feel comfortable mama. If you are comfortable you will likely feel more beautiful and when you FEEL more beautiful you will photograph with more ease. They even have matching dresses for your daughter, if you have a baby girl already or are expecting one, this is so fun!
