This adorable baby announcement in Malibu was such a fun time! Jen and Jer were so awesome to work with and they were so excited to announce their pregnancy with their first baby boy. I am a little behind on blogging, but since this session I have been lucky enough to have captured their family of three a few times now and I can say he is just the cutest little boy, it is so fun looking back on this shoot and seeing how much things have changed.

We started out capturing the ultrasound because who doesn’t want the classic announcement picture of you holding up the cutest little bean inside you.

I loved that they chose Malibu to capture this sweet session, especially this beach. It is so private and beautiful, I love shooting here. There is a lot of variation with the hints of greens that cover the hilltop overlooking the ocean and the option to walk down the stairs and head to the sand for a totally different look.

They had a few different ideas for their baby announcement and couldn’t decide which would be the best so we decided to capture them all! In my opinion, why not do them all! The more the merrier and who doesn’t want more memories of this special time in their lives. Pregnancy feels long in some ways but it also goes by SO fast and then your lives are changed forever, that is why capturing these amazing memories and maternity memories like this shoot here are so worth it.
