I always start out with the solid portrait shots to make sure that we can capture your family smiling at the camera before we have any toddler meltdowns or overtired babies. I try to keep this simple and straightforward and use the rest of the session to capture candid, real moments of you and your family hanging out together. My style is mainly avoiding any intense poses that look stiff and cold. I want you to look back at these and feel like they look magical and organic, pieces of artwork for your home and not just stiff smiles at the camera.

I also focus on capturing not only the entire family, but mom with the littles, dad with the littles (or older kiddos depending on your children’s ages). Lastly, I make sure to capture some solo shots of your children because who doesn’t want to freeze those moments in time, it truly goes by so quickly… it hurts.
