There is nothing better than sleepy snuggly newborns, I just can’t get enough of those early moments that seem to vanish before we are able to take it all in. This Ventura beach in home newborn session was a literal dream. The love from her cute brothers looking down at her and the family altogether was something special to capture.

This sweet baby girl was so precious to capture. I always start my sessions with some solo shots of the main star, the sweet newborn. I want to make sure you can remember your sweet angel for so many years to come because it’s gone in a blink of an eye and you can never have that time back.

I always focus on the sweet newborn features. They are only this little for so long and I want to be able to capture these sweet details so mom and dad can always have this memory to look back at, even when they turn into teenagers hehe.

She was such a doll, it was such a lovely session to capture for this family. Something I absolutely loved from this session was our mix of adding some photos outdoors as well. It’s always a great idea to have variation in your photo gallery. Mixing in some in-home plus some outside gives you options on different photos for various things. Some for framing in the home and some for Christmas cards or heirloom albums.

Since baby was perfectly sleepy, even through all of the photos, we took advantage and spent some extra time capturing photos with mama, dad and a few more solo shots in her adorable nursery.

This precious Ventura beach in home newborn session turned out so beautiful and I am so excited to see this adorable family grow! It’s always such an honor capturing these times in others lives. These special little memories for parents to reminiscence is one of the things I love most about photography!
