My main goal with maternity sessions are to focus on the beauty and miracle that pregnancy is. I feel like capturing this special time in a candid way with natural light is one of the best ways to document this time in your life. I want you to look back at your images and be reminded of a whimsical time filled with joy and beauty (even if it hasn’t felt that way the entire time while being pregnant). Why I almost always shoot in natural light:

Timeless and Dreamy:
There is something so magical when the sun hits off of a subject or glows perfectly behind someone. If we’re shooting inside or outside, the glow from real light is what is going to transform your images and give you the timeless and effortless feel.

We won’t need any other equipment:
Regardless of an indoor or outdoor shoot, if we choose the right time of day, you won’t need any extra equipment. It makes the session feel more effortless, casual and relaxed. No need to setup unnecessary lighting and bulky items.
